New CO2 Tanks

Does anybody know if they are completely empty when you buy them at a store like Academy or Wal-Mart?

Brand new tanks are shipped empty by law so there is no chance of an accident during shipping.

LMAO Thats hilarious!!!

But on the serious side, nothing will happen. I've done it to a used CO2 tank after completely emptying it. If your THAT worried then push the pin down with a pen or screw driver or something to make sure the air is out.

AHH NO!

you CAN buy them full, thats how i got mine from wal mart back in the day, Blue rihno is one company that they come pre filled from, I had a 20 oz. wal mart has this deal that you can exchange your empty tank for a full one but its like $8 from what i remember and the one you have has to be in really good condition. But you can also buy those tanks. Just ask someone working there what the case is

just plug it into a marker to find out, or try pushing down on the pin valve, if you can push it down it is empty, if not its full, or at least has pressure inside.
