Just got the HPA tank filled, however the gauge is only at 3... Does it mean it was a bad filled?
Should i bother driving back there to ask?
Air fills are only a dollar or so

It was prolly fast filled. It is when they don't slow fill it which causes the molecules to heat and expand, when they cool the pressure drops.

There really is no "full" or an HPA tank. There is just the pressure it is rated for.

I hear it more often as a "hot fill" You typically loose about 1000psi or so from a hot fill once it cools.

also depends on the pressure the fill station could fill for...my tank is rated for 5k but as far as i know of, no paintball field/store can fill to that pressure. every place that i've gone has only been able to fill 3 or 3.5k tops
