So going the SCUBA Cascade system approach... How do you set that up?? do you have to get 3 fill station setups? is there as connection to hook all threee tanks up? I am assuming you talking three tanks??

I recently purchased a 3K SCUBA tank and i was hoping to fill some bottles off it...Did i waste my money?

You can do it from 2-infinity tanks. Most common is 3 though, yes.

What it does is fill from the first tank, then from the 2nd, then from the 3rd. So the first tank is at say, 2000 psi (these numbers aren't accuracte, just easy to understand), you'll get 1800 off that. The second is still at 2500, you'll get up to 2300, and the 3rd was untouched at 3000 so it's able to fill the tank up to 2900. And still has 2950 left. Because the third tank doesn't get used as much, it's ability to get full fills lasts SIGNIFICANTLY longer.

Even without a cascade system, a single scuba tank is still useful. Just that as you fill off it, each fill will be less and less near full, until after a full day of filling, you will get a fill that's not even useful.

the easiest is to get seperate fill stations but there is nothign stopping you from just having one fill station the only issue is you will have to fill from scuba #1, take the fill station off the tank, attach to scuba #2, fill from scuba #2, take it off scuba #2, attach to scuba #3 etc etc

you can probably build a cascade system with the right fittings but it would require yokes for each scuba and probably 3-4 valves some with bleeds.

Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, that makes a firearm better makes a paintball marker worse. They are 2 very different worlds with nothing except a trigger in common
