Ok. So I need to know if this tank I bought is ok for use or if I need a rehydro test. The Guy I bought it from knew little to nothing except that it made his gun shoot. Here's the info:

Crossfire 68/3000

Stamped figures are:

DOT-3HT3000 M9001 A19123 11 1A18 01 REE:7 6 1 AC0096
GCT-CANADA

Here's what I read:

It's a 3000 psi tank and I need to test it every 3 years. That's all I understand. Can someone please explain the rest? Much appreciated.

looks like the pictures are down on this link. I'll see if I can find some more information.

Best I can tell, you're not looking at the right numbers, or your tank was made in september of 2001

Hmm... it's not letting me upload pics. Stupid phone. Anyway, there is nothing on the tank other than the "Crossfire DANGER" sticker. Numbers are stamped as I posted. On the valve, it says "1201" stamped upside down in relation to the tank. That's all I got. Nothing else, stamped or printed. This is just a POS backup backup tank, so I'm not super concerned, but I don't want to fill it without knowing it's safe.

i am sorry but you are not allowed to use that tank anymore. the DOT banned that tank for use in paintball and they are not supposed to be used, filled or retested.
