I'd prefer nitro on any setup, but Co2 wouldn't be too bad on the Omen.
And I see that you're banned, again...How many user names have you made? I know you'll be back.

You could have looked in the other sticky in here for that answer.
But anyway, about 450 shots which varies between different gun setups.

sorry to dig up this old thread, but i have a question about HPA
I thought i read somewhere on here about efficency/velocity stability problems on HPA tanks above certain sizes/pressures. I want to say the line was at 68/4500 but i'm not sure.
I can't find the thread i read it on, but it could be i was just not remembering Master of Paint's post correctly...

The size of the tank shouldn't have any effect on efficiency or velocity. You will obviously get more shots out of a larger tank, and it will be heavier, but other than that it will still be as stable as a smaller one of the same brand until it gets low on air.

Yeah, that sounds logical. I was struggling to rationalize how that was supposed to make sense in my head.
Thanks

Let me get this straight:
HPA is compressed air.
CO2 is a compressed liquid.
HPA isnt effected by weather, co2 is.
HPA bottles is more expensive than co2
HPA is cheaper to refuel
HPA is cleaner.
HPA can be used without any gun modifications.
HPA needs a regulator.
I miss anything?

CO2 is compressed CO2, but, inside the tank, it is mostly in a liquid form.
HPA isn't necessarily cheaper to fill than CO2. It depends on the places you get it refilled at. They're both around the same price.
With HPA, the gun doesn't always need a regulator. That's only with low-ends like Spyders, those guns do not need regulated air. High-ends do. And HPA tanks have regulators on them.

What should i get for my gun then? (Look in signature)
Say you went to a tourni and used a HPA tank as your main. Can you take a CO2 tank and put it in a pod pack and switch em out without any modification?

CO2 would be fine on your setup, but I'd go HPA just because it's HPA. Yes, you can run both at the same time.

yes but its not exactly recommended to keep switching them out. i doubt youd want to carry a thing of co2 on your back, it'd get heavy. just buy a good sized hpa tank and you wont run out in the middle of the game

ok i read through all of this thread and it is very informative. xPizzerx stated that a regulator is needed on a low end spyder. I plan on buyingh the tippmann ACT pro e and a hap tank. would i also need a regulator? also, regarding tank covers, are they needed for steel hpa tanks? thanks agian in advance, keep up the good work people, this is a great thread!

No, I said that low-ends like Spyders do not need to be regulated. It was kind of confusing the way I said it though, sorry.
I'm pretty sure it isn't necessary to have a regulator on your Tippmann. HPA should run on them fine and you shouldn't have to worry about breaking the gun from high pressures.
Tank covers are a good thing to have for any HPA tank. Steel or not. You'll want to protect your $80+ investment.

Anything's good really. Just as long as the cover isn't too thin so it actually offers some protection. And I love my 05 Dye Rhino Cover. Has a lot of padding and is pretty hot looking. Like $25 new.

I have a steel tank and have friends that have carbon tanks but I cant feel a lot of difference between the two. My 72ci steel tank feels the same as a 68 ci carbon wrap. To me it is worth saving 100+ $$ for a few oz's in weight.
