Some good aftermarket regs are the Custom Products Inline, Bob Long Torpedo, MAC Dev 04 Gladiator, and the AKA LMP Sidewinder.
The CP might be your best bet because of the performance, size, and the price tag.

pretty muh, but the best reg you can buy would be the palmers stbalizer, but thats if your running co2, but price usually tells preformance

Any reg can fit on any gun, and work good, as long as it can be screwed into the marker's vertical adapter (right in front of the trigger frame). So, yes, a Vertical Max-Flo can fit on basically any marker.

CP Inline Reg is the best choice if you're only going to be using HPA. Very low cost, and a very good/compact reg.
If you are going to be using Co2 only, then I'd recommend either a Vertical Max-Flo, or a Palmers Male Stabilizer.

Ya, it probably wouldn't hurt. Just you will still get the same effects that Co2 has, like marker sweating, etc. Plus you may have to clean your reg more because of the Co2 since it is a pretty dirty gas.
But keep in mind that switching back and forth with Co2, and HPA isn't a good idea. Try to keep it mainly HPA.
