The 3.5 are considered more valuable then the 4.0.

So, I'd get the 3.5 if you can. (Its MUCH lighter).

BUT... they still make them. Technically, they still make all those weird sizes (like 10oz, 40oz, etc), since they are used for non-paintball uses.

Last I heard, many of the "older" paintball stores till have a few kicking around. Just call around and see if any are left in stock.

The best source is old talon C/A kits. They came with the 4oz, but nobody was really dumb enough to run a talon on C/A, so nobody bought them. So, they tend to sell cheap.
