your tank will have the manufacturer date on it, and the hydro date is 5 years from that

It depends too on the type of tank how often it needs to be hydroed. I *think* fiber HPA needs it every 3 years and CO2 steel/AL tanks every 5. Check with an Airsmith to be sure.

what type of tank do you have fiber or steel? if it is steel the date will be stamped on the tank at the top or on the bottom. if its fiber its on the label somewhere.

If there isn't a date easily found, who manufactured it? Maybe they use a code instead of a date but I don't think that's legal. As for the Airsmiths, I think I used that term too broadly, Check with any of your local paintball places or sports stores and there might be someone there that can tell you the specifics of the tank markings. If you don't have any luck let me know and I'll see if I can dig something up on the net. I just need to know who made it and what's printed on it.
