O ring on the CO2 tank

Is it important to have it on the tank? Because the one on my friends tank got caught on one of threads from the ASA. Its not broken but it came off. Should he jsut put it back on? Or would it even matter.

Thanks again.

IT IS THE importance of having a co2 tank. Use a Tank oring on it. If not, when you put the tank into the asa, all the air will come rushing out, then you have to take it out. Look at it and say "Hmmm, should've put an o-ring on it"

Just buy a new one there like 5-10 cents a piece, and yes it does matter if you have one on there or not.

Replace it and keep extras

Orings are going to tear, break, or otherwise fail often . They are kind of a disposable part of the life of paintball . You need to replace it, um, you have to replace it . As was stated you will lose all your air in just few seconds .

Look online and buy a bunch at once . You can replace them on the fields or local paintball shops but be prepared to shell out about a buck for one . Ebay has some sellers as well as a few specialty websites . Just doing a quick google on it I found tankorings.com . Of course I could have just told you that since I have bought from them before .

I also found that, even though the manual says you cant, many bolt and striker orings can be replaced with tank orings .
