HPA Tank leak

My tank is on a 99 smart parts max-flow system...also means my threads are reversed on the reg. and the tank. But after shooting only about 500 rounds out of my cocker at 500 psi i noticed the tank starting to go dead and with it being a 68ci 3000 psi tank...it cant be possible. It is not passed the hydro date either. But the tank has an on/off switch...and if u turn it on while its not in the gun, u see little air bubbles comming up through an oiled ring at the top of the valve..ring meaning like a groove that is on the very top, like looking down at it standing up. So i'm thinking thats the problem..my air has been leaking, lemme know if this is a normal operation of the tank or what?...and can this valve or whole top be replaced with max-flow threads?.

it was hydroed in like 2002 or something, i dont feel like looking...but the guy told me it wouldnt have to be tested for another year....it seems like a valve is gone and thats why its leaking, or the tank just goes dead faster than i thought.

You may have to replace the reg on the tank. Take it into a proshop and have them look at it for you.

Make sure your o-ring is intact!

a 68/3000 tank should get around 680 shots. Depending on your setup it could be more or less.

Replace o-rings
Take it to the shop
