HPA tank leak?
Here's the scenario...
Screwed in a full 48/3000 Nitro tank. It was leaking, so I unscrewed it, checked the ASA by screwing in another Nitro tank I have, it was ok. Reloaded the bad tank, leak continued, so I unscrwed the tank, and apparently the valve stayed open because the tank hissed out all 48 Cubic Inches of air that was in it.
My questions are... is this fixable, what do you all think may be the problem, and how expensive is it to fix?

Put one drop of oil on the pin while its got some pressure in it and then let it sit for a minute and then push the pin down with a key. That should lube the pin and fix it.

you need a new tank o-ring, because the pin should be open in the asa, the pin thing wouldn't cause a leak while on the gun. and i wouldn't worry about the pin leak, as you can fill HPA with the tank still on the gun.

re-read his original post dude. He said the pin stuck when he unscrewed it and leaked out all his air. However if its leaking on the gun he's right needs a new o ring. Also If the tank was almost empty when you screwed it off, there probably wasnt enough pressure to properly reseat the pin valve and will probably correct itself on the next fill.

It started leaking on the gun, but when I undid the tank the second time, the tank completely emptied itself over about 2 minutes or so.
Looking at the pin, it does look a TINY bit off center.

Try to bend it back center. What brand tank is it?

i knew it was leaking off the gun too. he just thought it was ONLY leaking off of the gun. as for the pin, you may need a new pin spring. an airsmith can do that for you.

Would I find that at a paintball field, or more like a scuba-tank place?
Oh, it's a Pure Energy tank, not new though.

Just go to your local proshop, and have an airsmith look the tank over for you, thats your best bet.
