I went to home depot and they had something that was like macro line and it was tested with the same psi as macro. It's in the plumbing section.

Yes if you buy the right kind then it'll work. The macroline at the pb stores are not any different. I got one thats only a couple cents a feet and its really flexible and ive got it to hold up to 1000psi. So far, ive been using it for a month and no problems so far.

Your local shop is making you their *****. I got a foot of macro for 1.50. I think the stuff from the home depot has a smaller hole and wider walls making for a slower recharge rate, and shootdown, because its almost as thin as a microline.

Its at my local hardware store as well, but PLEASE be carefull.
All pneumatics are rated 2 different ways: "working" pressure, and "max" pressure.
The "max" pressure is usually 2 to 3 times as high as the "working" pressuring.
The "working" number is THE LIMIT YOU SHOULD GO. The "max" number represents how high before the unit explodes. But, everytime you go above the "working", you also weaking the unit.
Anyway, so if it says 1200psi MP, thats "MAX" pressure, and is really only rated for 400-600, making it not sutable for paintball.
That said... much of the macroline from proshops is the 1200WP stuff, which probobly explains why I see lots of that stuff blow.
My local shop has 1800psi MP macro, which is borderline for paintball, and I've used it. They also have the fittings, which are called "PUSH/PULL". As with the macro, the fittings come in a variety of pressure ratings. MAKE SURE you read it,
Nick
