Allright well my field wont fill my tank because the tank is over 3 years old and sc went anal about that rule so i need a new bottle. The question is can the 1st reg which is attached directly to the old bottle be removed and put on a new bottle or do i need to replace the bottle and 1st reg together?

...Why don't you just get it hydrotested? It'd be cheaper than getting a new bottle.

I've also never been a fan of removing the reg/valve from any tank. Can't be risking not securing it back well enough.

Hydrotesting isn't very expensive and it'll get you another 3-5 years out of your tank before it needs retesting.

...the tank is in hydro....but sc village went prick and will not fill any tank thats over 3 years old so my hydro means nothing....wouldnt be asking this question if the solution was walkin down to a scuba shop and getting it done

its not just one guy.....its a new official rule at sc village...there isnt really the option of keeping my current bottle im getting a new one for sure....im just wondering if i need to buy the bottle with 1st reg from geddon or i can just buy a bottle solo

you should be able to just get a new tank and have your reg installed into it. but i still say take a stand, take a copy of the DOT codes and raise hell until they change the rule.

hell this is sc village...they really dont give a **** about arena players...we arent where they make money from, all we do is drop 20 bucks for wristband n air so they really dont give a **** if some random dude has a problem about his tank not being filled. maybe if i was some camo freak who drops 150 a day to sc for the expensive band..tons of co2 and house paint..then maybe theyd give a ****

Maybe you can threaten legal action. Because that's BS. Seriously, raise hell.. It's the only way. I guarantee you if you go off on them enough they'll fill it. And if not, get your grandmother to do it for you. They'll fold to a grandmother...guaranteed.

Thats Sucks!! I have an AA 88ci 4500 that was Hydroed last year(It has an 03 sticker that is sealed by some clear goo. Nobody has given me any probs. I know you can purchase a new tank and keep all hardware. The tanks run about $125 I think Does your hydro sticker have a tamper proof coating on it?maybe thats the prob.
