I don't think the make a 114/5000. I think they make a 114/4500, and know they make a 114/3000.

That tank would be the size of a small island.

I hate to see what would happen if that tank blows! OUCH! I can barely find a place to fill upto 3000. All my tanks are 4500.

Almost impossible. It has a pair of burst discs. And I treat tanks like nitroglycerin when I'm not pballing. My 3k goes in a military 25mm ammo box.

Yes I agree about the burst disks but during filling is when most tanks go. Keep in mind that scuba tanks have burst disks and 1 a month is documented to blow somewhere in the world. Burst disk are a safety measure but not a gaurantee! Just my opinion anyway

Many peopel get electrocuted, so should we make all everything low-wattage so nobody gets hurt? There are always safety precautions, and tanks are pretty damn hard. With a rock it takes a few swings to bust open an aerosol can at like <100 psi and the skin is like .1mm thick. Imagine a 1 or 2mm carbon fiber wrapped at 5kpsi.. Thats pretty damn hard to hurt. And I dont work for a field so I have no worry about a scuba blowign up on me. :P
Anyways, when they blow up, there is no fire. Its the shrapnel you need to worry about. When a tank is punctured, you have to worry about supercooled liquid (if CO2, but thats not what we're tlaking about), and the tank flying at you. Unless the tank is overfilled (and they can withstand muchos more pressure then they are rated for, but its dangerous to go over), its not going to fragment.

yeah....ive been like 20 feet away from a tank when it went boom. it doesnt shrapnel. it fissures. its really loud...you get buffeted with a rush of air.....then you piss yourself......
the only way for it to shrapnel is to have an exceeding force applied to EVERY INCH of the tank to make it break apart. fissuring is a ***** though. i had to pick a peice of carbon fiber outta my ass though. i found one in my hair (THANK GOD FOR MY MOP HEAD!) later that night. so yeah. there is nothign really to worry about cept your hearing.

a tank blew, he just said that.
on topic: 114 is WAY to big, you need a 68/4500 if you play off of a field, if you are on a field that fills HPA, just get a 45/4500, much lighter and smaller.

114/5000 is WAY too big and most places won't fill it. if you need alot of shots out of your tank get a 88/45(much better)
