What is this fitting?
My JT Excellerator 3.0 has a leak in the gas-through grip and this is the fitting when I take off the grip. Does anybody know if there's an adapter from this fitting to ASA or anywhere I could get a replacement gas-through?
Thanks in advance

It's on my gun. There were only 4 posts total in the JT forum so I figured I'd try to see if anybody who posts in here had seen the fitting before. JT and Brass Eagle are one in the same, right?

Thats most likely just a piece spicificly (sp) for your gas through, it looks as if it could be replaced with a macroline kit, http://www.xpaintball.com/macrolinekits.html

How would a macroline work? I can't find a fitting to screw over that part to adapt it to the macroline fitting.

It looks like that piece might unscrew, but it's totally round. How would I go about unscrewing it?

that fitting looks like it could be a form of quick disconnect. how did you get the hose/whatever off of it?

What are you trying to do? Get rid of the gas thru and install a bottomline?
EDIT Can you take a pic of the other side as well as one a litle farther away?

I was going to fix the leak the gas-through caused, but it was an inherent flaw in the design of the gas-through so I was just going to replace it with an X-chamber. Since my gun has that wierd fitting instead of an ASA fitting, I can't do that. I really don't mind losing the foregrip all together but would like an x-chamber because I run CO2. I'll take pictures shortly.

The gas through that your gun comes with is a femal gas through.. Most X-chambers are male, meaning you'd screw them into an asa. I don't think you CAN put an x-chamber into it.

I wasn't asking for an x-chamber that'd thread right on, I was asking if anybody knew what that fitting was called so I could maybe get an adapter.

Will that fitting come out of the gun also, or is it part of the body? Try takign the fitting out. It might have a regular fitting under it.

I can't find a nut that'll thread onto it so I can jam two on there and unscrew it. I don't want to mess up the threads if that part can't come out.
