How does teflon tape give stuff a
ghetto look? When teflon tape is properly used, you cannot see it. Cut a peice of teflon tape (width wise) and wrap it around the threads. You are supposed to
tightly wrap the teflon tape around the threads 3 or 4 times. If you wrap it tight enough you should be able to see the threads. Then you cut the teflon tape screw it in. If you did not wrap the teflon tape tight enough, then some might show.
All areas on a paintball marker where you want it to be air-tight has teflon tape (sometimes loctite instead). I think he should offer refunds. If I were to pay money for someone to do some labor, you better do it right. If the laborer does not feel completely comftorable to do his/her job because they arn't positive it will turn out good, they shouldn't be doing it.
To the thread starter; just use teflon tape. Correctly apply teflon tape (look above for steps) and it should work. If it doesn't, their might be a problem with your hose. If it is macroline it might be cut to short.
