how to correctly anti siphon a marker
heres my problem, i wanna buy an ICD gun, but my local field doesnt supply compressed air. so i want to use anti-siphoned co2. besides the anti siphon tube in the co2 tank what other upgrades/mods need to be done to my marker? duch as regulator, expansion, on/off valve, etc, etc. any help is appreciated. thanks.

A expansion chamber with the anti siphon will greatly reduce the amount of liquid co2 going into your marker. Try to get a 6 stage x-chamber i believe a good one is made by ACI(not sure). If you have the money a Palmers Stabalizer reg is a good reg to use with co2 and will also help with reducing liquid co2 from getting in your gun. Do expect some to get in as nothing will fully stop it from entering your gun unless you get HPA.

You don't need anything else for it to work.
An expansion chamber would be pointless really because the anti-siphon is already doing a fine enough job. Same with a remote.
A regulator does not help with reducing the amount of liquid Co2 that enters your marker. I thought ICD markers came stock with regs?
I believe an ICD marker strictly only takes HPA anyway.

you can not run an expantion chamber on a BKO. you must have a reg to drop the pressure from the tank down to around 200-300 psi. if you dont you will destroy the LPR. you will be fine with just the anti syphon tank. i would say get a better reg like the palmers like stated above because the stock regs dont like CO2!

There are however, co2 specifically the Palmers Stabillizer, if you really want to use co2 I would suggest the use of both this reg as well as the anti-siphon tube.

Actually I don't think it's because it can reduce the liquid. It just doesn't freeze up. Not really sure, could be wrong.

in a way a reg could help because the internals of the reg add more surface area(job of exp chamber) for the liquid co2 to take heat from to change to a gas.

Anti-syphons are overrated. If you have a downangled ASA you aren't going to be sucking any liquid from ANY tanks as long as you don't shoot towards the ground. That is a problem that would effect anti-syphons too.

But then again, not everyone likes the feel of an angled drop, so an anti-siphon tank would be useful to that person.
