i bought a pure energy 45/45 tank that is almost 3 years old from a friend...i don't know the exact date when it was manufacuted. where is that located on the tank??? also does it need to be hydroed every 5 years or 3...the tank says "test every 3 years" but i don't know if that's accurate

If it says to hydro every three years, do it. Why else would the manufacturer write that date.
