I've heard people saying that macroline is unsafe because it can burst and whatnot.. But what about Hardline. Is it any more "safer?"

When you order it, how do you order it so it will fit your marker? Are there different styles?

By hardline do you mean steel braided? If so, they come in lengths up to about 36". Just get a piece of sting and position it as you like, allowing for the stiffness of steel braided line, measure, and get the next size up.

As for macroline, mine has never failed on me or exploded, and I use a HP tank.

I would say without a doubt, steel braided is stronger, more durable, and longer lasting than macroline. However, most people find macroline to be cheaper and it comes in a variety of colors.

If your not talking about steel braided, disregard all that

Hardline is more durable, but it is heavier.
Macroline is lighter but it is not nearly as durable, i've seen peoples macroline snap when diving and it wasn't pretty.Air was flying out of the fittings like crazy.

Hardline is crap

it as used on Phantoms and Mags casue it was never really needed to be flexed or ne thing. Thats b/c when bent incorrectly it will become thin and burst.



If i was you i'd go with Macroline, it's the easiest stuff to work with and the cheapest.
