Yeah, I was away on a class trip to Washington D.C., just got back. Your Viking's eyes are in delayed mode, meaning that if the Viking's eyes don't detect paint it will wait 3/4 a second and then fire. If the eyes read paint during the 3/4 the second it will fire then.
To change the mode (for WAS), hold the trigger down and turn on your Viking. Your LED light will be green, let go and it should light red. Pulling the trigger will toggle between red, orange, and green.
Red indicates you are in the dwell programming mode, orange is firing programming mode, and green is debounce programming mode. You want to get the light orange, then hold down the trigger. It should start flashing orange, let go of the trigger. Each flash represents what mode it is in.
1 flash - Bypassed: Eyes off, capped at 13 BPS.
2 flashes - Delayed: Eyes on, if paint is not detected the marker will wait 3/4 a second and then continue to fire. Uncapped.
3 flashes - Forced: Eyes on, marker will only fire when paint is in the breech. Uncapped.
4 flashes - Simulate: Eyes always read paint, don't shoot paint in this mode. Uncapped.
To change what mode you do pull the trigger that many times as you want it to flash. In example, if you want Simulate Mode you will pull the trigger 4 times.
Once you are finished programming wait and it will flash red/green rapidly. Once it stops you will be taken back to the main menu and you can turn your Viking on.
