Paintball clothing.. But can I?

I have spend the past four weeks doing RnD into Paintball before I dive into the sport. I've been reading up on markers, on tanks, airsystems and so on - and Im starting to get the feel for it. I like to be thorough about stuff I start out with.

During my quest for knowledge and tips on what to get, I came across the 06 series from Dye and Evil - Jerseys, Pants and Gloves. I cant help it - I simply love them. The black/grey ones. Kinda anonymous, yet cool.

My question is this - both Dye and Evil are highend brands - and their name is associated with good products and thus a bit of expectations. Is it "ok" - even with my C-5 Egrip - to run around in a Dye or Evil suit? I really don't wanna come out as a wannabe or anything like that, but I still really like the way they look.

So lets have it guys - lame, or cool?

no one gives a damn if u gear doesn't match. If it does, that's okay too.

As for using a A-5 (i think that's what u meant) while wearing "tourney cloths" no biggie. It really doesn't hinder stealth (b/c comeon, a good bush, or undergrowth will fully cover u) and no one minds. However, don't be suprised when all the newbs suddenly think ur an amazing player.

My favorite brands for jerseys/pants and other gear...are Empire and Dye. I love my Empire pants, really nice...and the C5 jerseys are really nice.
