Pads

I usually play mid so would say elbow and/or knee pads be useful and worth my money? If so, what brand should I look into?

Knee pads definatly, elbow pads only if your doing a bunch of diving.

I have 05 proto kneepads and they are great, no experiance with any other pads so I cant really compare.

If you have big(large) forearms/elbows I have some proto pads for sale.

But besides that, their always good to get bounces off. I got empire Ventz elbow and knee pads and their amazing. Knee pads kinda slip after a few games so i gotta pull them back up

I've got proto elbow pads and I love them. I play alot of snake, so I'm pretty rough on my forearms/elbows. I wear slider shorts and thick neoprene kneebraces (bad knees) so I don't need knee pads.
