Just looking over apparel...
jesus christ, pants/jerseys/gloves can get expensive...not to mention if your gonna buy knee/elbow pads...
110 bucks for some 06 pants, 60ish for 06 jerseys, 40-50 for 06 gloves...30-40 for kneepads and elbow pads!
Your talking 200+ just for apparel, not to mention goggles, and headwraps, cleats, slideshorts...
sheesh, you'd think youve already paid enough for a good gun setup, then you have to worry about clothing as well!

For the most part you can do without the pads. The most important thing is pants, and maybe gloves. All the other stuff can wait.

do you live in canada or something?? the more you spend the stupider you look in my opinion. when i see people in brand new everything, never used/whorn, i laugh at them. Pants definately get, instead of jersey go to k mart and get a long sleve baggy shirt or something which will save u like 30. Cleats... who doesnt have a pair laying around from an old sport? if you dont, go to payless or big 5 or some **** and get cleats for like 20. goggles, dont skimp on, headwrap if you want..should be cheap, gloves, nice to have, not needed, shouldnt spend 40-50.

Exactly! Your prices seem high. My wife got me a new 05 Dye jersey off of ebay for $20, JT pants for $25. Masks are cheap too. You just have to shop around and look for the best deals. Yes brand new Dye will cost alot, I would never pay $100 for a pair of pants. I dont use gloves or pads....If you play rec or woods ball pick up some camo, BDU's ( battle dress uniform) military camo is very cheap used. Not that expensive new either.

Well yes the new Dye apparel is expensive! I cant believe they would charge 110$ for pants and $60 for gloves, that is just ripping people off! I guess you would only need this brand new gear if you were on a team and in alot of tournements.

I haven't used sponsorship discounts to buy anything that I am wearing now.
I got my JT pants for 80, a black shirt for 8, gloves are gay, and I play back so I don't need pads.

Well that sucks for them.
Brand new custom pants and jerseys on the way for me. Free of charge.
Either way though I dont see why anyone would actually buy the 06 Dye stuff. Proto gear is the exact same and half the price...
Anyways, just buy 05 ****. There is no rule that you have to have all sparkly brand new off the assembly line ****.

Where are you getting your gear from?
I'm not sure if my Empire **** will be totally free or if I have to pay something for it.
