Knee pads

I'm tired of coming back from the field with no skin left on my knees. Does anyone have a recommendation for something that would be suitable for both sliding and kneeling comfortably on my knees? Ideally it wouldn't impact my ability to run or move at all.

Thanks for any help

That, or paintball pads. If you go with paintball pads, go with Empire. They have two types: the Ground Pounder SE, which is only a knee pad for $44.99, and the Ventz SE, which are a knee/shin pad for $49.99. I'd reccommend spending the extra $5 to get the Empire Ventz SE, just because shin injuries are common, and hurt the most (in my opinion).

When I play rec, I use skate pads. Hard pad surface makes for nice long slides on grass and dirt and they don't get ripped or damaged from sliding over the stray rock or stick

Super cheap too. I got elbow and knee pads for something around $20-$30 from my sporting goods store (or was it WalMart...)!
