What batteries do you use (9 volts)?
I'm going to buy a bunch in bulk and want to make sure I get something I shouldn't have trouble with. I've had issues using the cheap Rayvac and other batteries you can find for less than a dollar at Walmart.

Well, if you're using a Spyder, a normal 9v will work, but will die on you pretty quickly. Spyders and the like need 9.6v to operate the longest.
Any other gun that requires a standard 9v will work the best (and may only work) with good quality name brand batteries.

imo energizer industrial or energizer e2 lithiums are the best batteries out there, then there are Duracell heavy duties.

I personally use whatever they have at the dollar store, but that's usually because I can find a sealed case and convince the sales girl to just charge me $1.

I've used that variety in both a Mini and an Epiphany, neither would fire with the cheap ones. Sucks because I bought like 20 for $5 or something

Anything with "heavy duty" or "industrial" in the name should be avoided. Other than, there's not a huge difference in the standard lines of batteries, unless you're willing to pay extra for something like energizer e2s etc.

It's just another name for "heavy duty", they have the same problems; short life, poor output, etc.

really, duracells seem to be pretty quality, as with the energizers.

Rechargeables actually can cause problems. A lot of the time they output a slightly lower voltage, ie. a rechargeable 9volt might actually give 8.6 volts. This can cause your stuff to malfunction or die prematurely.

I got those code 262 or whatever rechargable batteries, and they seem to be fine in my VLocity.
