does a push to talk throat mic just plug into a walkietalkie and you just have it in a pouch or something? ive een lke packs of 2 mics and 2 walkietalkies so it seems to be

you get a walkie-talkie, attach thoat mic, put walkie-talkie in a pocket, put on mic, and done.

Scenario's and such usually allow mics, so I would consider it an option

a throat mike in a scenario is almost a necessity if you want ot stay in comunication with what is going on.

Hard to find good ones for cheap though

I've found a few that are good for a decent price though (thank you Airsoft Retreat >.<).

actually i think home depot sells some for like 60 bucks
to some that might not be cheap but to me thats a pretty good deal. Also those things are awesome.

I would think that Home Depot wouldn't sell something like that, but I could be wrong.

I can get good ones that work for about half that price

REI has one, Firefox Throat Mic from REI.com

But there's lots of bad comments about it... don't know if it's any good. The ones i've hadnled myself are iasus brand, they're pretty good but they're like $100 a set if you can find it.

edit: just gave a call to my friend that plays airsoft and he has the iasus NT3 throat mic. He paid $120 a year ago for it and it's been really good for him.
