So, I'm looking to get a camera to mount on my marker while play. I want to use this as a training guide to what I do right, and wrong. Any advice on these things would be greatly appreciated!

The GoPro looks a bit large and sluggish... You look into a countour HD too?

Mounting a camera on your marker is going to show you what your barrel sees, but not necessarily what you or your opponent sees. You may be better off side mounting the camera to your favored side of your mask... or talking the sig. other into coming out for an afternoon with a cheap video camera or cell phone cam. You'll probably get more useful footage from either of those things than a barrel mounted cam.

I agree. I'm not into barrel mounted cameras at all. The video they give is quite bad.

If i was going to buy one, I think I'd get a contour, and put it somewhere on my mask

I haven't heard of the Contour HD before, but I'm checking it out now, and it looks pretty good. Have you guys used a camera while playing?

I wasn't talking about seeing what other people can see of me, but of what I'm doing wrong. For example, running to a bunker and putting my marker down, or sticking my marker too far out when snapping. I actually haven't used anything before, but I've seen people with them. It would also be nice to have one of these for work when I go on boardings and such...

For me at this point - Its kinda like that test you don't want to get back from your instructor....I really don't want to see all the crap I do wrong on a regular basis. Heck, the field I play at posts pictures and...I'm critical enough about my shooting form just looking at those.

I've thought about adding a camera to my eFlexes...I guess I just can't justify the cost.

Though, your marker should be "up" and in the direction you're looking, right? You should be able to identify that because your hopper isn't in front of your face.
