Thumbs up Remix Review: Smart Parts Pro-Touch

Finally getting my new Impulse i decided to buy some grips for it because the stock ones are very uncomfortable. I went to Atomix and picked up the new Smart Parts Pro-Touch grips for $19.99 and threw them on my Impulse.

Performance

As soon as i put them on i noticed the little Smart Parts Jewel in the middle is really easy to pull out, mine rather almost fell out, but was easy to put back in. So i hopped in a game and played with them for about 5-6 games and decided, wow these grips are really comfortable.

The only uncomfortable spot was the part of the grips that stick out in the back. Those can always be cut down though.

What i didn't like too was the fact that the grip doesn't wrap around the back all the way, but rather just covers the front and the sides.

Looks

The looks are very impressive coming from a Smart Parts product. The layout of the grip is familiar to the Dye Sticky 3's.

Overall

Overall i was impressed. The Pro-Touch grips are thick and don't rip very easily. If i were to pick out a grip for my gun i would definitely consider these as for they're very nice for there price.

Well i was bored and decided to type a little something up.

Remix Rating: 8.5

Good review.

They're not very new, but whatever.

They are basically a Smart Parts style Sticky 3.

Most people would probably like that it doesn't wrap around the entire trigger frame like the Sticky 3's. I mean, just to change the battery, you need to take off the bottomline setup to get the grip out of the way. Or you might be able to just slip by it.

yeah, but i never really have my whole hand around the grip, usually when im walking the trigger. the only part that my hand really touches is the back.
