why
i dont get it... paintball, being a mainly speedball sport, and mainly played out in the hot sun, why the hell are pants always black? it gets too damn hot, why must pant manufacturers insist on making everything black... and its not just pants, practically everything is always black. masks, packs, gloves.... the heat!

Well remember that a lot of paintball clothes are also heavily vented... Like my Empire pants are blue and black but they stay fairly cool even in the 95 degree weather with crazy humidity...

and plus, its probable alot cheaper to use black fabric on all of a companies pants. then they just use a little bit of red/blue highlighting to give you the different color options.
if companies made pants that were 100% blue/red/gray/tan/green, prices would go up becasue they wouldnt be buying the black fabric in baulk. and bulk is cheaper, hell, i can get like 100 butter fingers for like $15 at BJ's

because lots of people use dark colored filled paint, sowhen it splats on a dark jersey or pants then its harder to see compared to a completely white jersey
