Does anyone wear chest protectors?

Hey,

I've been used to paintballing without chest protectors, but some of my teamates dont even seem to flinch when getting shot in certain areas, im thinking they have some sort of protection under their camo.

Anyone ever use chest protection before?

Doubtful... Some people are just used to it. After a few games of being hit multiple times it really doesn't hurt anymore.

My mom likes me to wear one but, she doesn't take my PBing, my dad does. So my dad lets me take it off. I don't even have a PB chest protector, I'm supposed to use my quad chest protector which restrains movement and is hard to run in. I think they are useless, B/c paintballs barely hurt, and the most pain you'll feel is nothing more than being slapped. Also, they too restrain movement, and in paintball you NEED to move...alot.

your right paintballs dont really hurt, i think getting hit in the hand with no gloves on hurts the most.

thats wrong, getting hit in the nuts/your gun that shoots white paint uncupped will obviously hurt the worst. duh

but anyways, a lot of these 35 yr old guys come to our local field, with the rental package you have the option of a pink or purple or no chest protector, so on occasion you'll see some 30 year old half drunk guy wearing one, tis hilarious to watch.

if you think it doesn't hurt i'm guessing you play woodsball, but for your question they may be wearing heavy camo, i have real army camo and it is really heavy i use it when i play woods maybe once a year. could be the adrenaline taking over and they get o into it to feel the pain.

I play woodsball and only woodsball. I was wasted in the back 4 times when my friend was blind shooting at me, he didnt know i was there so he shot and got me. On top of this, towards the end of the day one of my friends was super stealthy and hit me and my friend in the upper chest area.

Later that day i saw a back/chest protector, and out there in the field. It would have been nice to have on instead of being hit at point blank range with huge welts left over.

Though other times i am soo hyped up i get hit in arms and legs and i dont feel a thing but a welt is left over. So its really up what is happening in the game and what mind set your in.

Personally i have not purchased one of these, and probably won't.

One time i got cracked in the knuckle of my trigger finger... It brought me to my knees with pain... Holy *hit I would say that is the most pain i have had in paintball yet.

I remember when me and a few guys were pinned down in trenches. The other team wouldn't stop shooting even though we were out. I was focusing so much on getting out the only thing I felt was a paintball breaking on my hand.

Armour is good for beginners, but I think its too cumbersome. And it is "pain"tball after all!

The only excuse you have for wearing any sort of armor is if you have a physical problem and it endangers you to be hit.

Otherwise your just being a fairy. Paintballs hurt your first or second game. I've been shot in the throat, between the fingers, back of the hand, back of the head, top of the head, arms, legs, chest, back, very close to my nads, and feet. I've been lit up, I've been hit with spiking guns, I've been hit by people who cranked up their velocity. They don't hurt. IF you have any muscle on you, it won't hurt. I'm pretty scrawny and I have a good tolerance for pain, but I guess I wouldn't say its a high tolerance as I've said before. IT doesn't hurt.

If your afraid of the pain, paintball isnt' for you. If your afraid of being scared, why would you watch a scary movie?

??? any gun can shoot any velocity...just crank it up. my tippy can shoot just as fast (fps no bps) as an angel. doesn't matter what gun you get shot from...it matters what the velocity of that gun is.
