The cocking rod screws into the hammer, so maybe your hammer is messed up. Check the hammer. Try taking the hammer out and screwing the cocking rod into the hammer. You may just be screwing it in at an angle.

The threads in the hammer are stripped in the front of it? And it makes the cocking rod turn a little bit....Do you think thats it?

Probably. I is just going to turn a little. My cocking rod has a place for an allen wrench in the back, so I just use a little blue locktite to hold the cocking rod in. You could try that if you have a good way to remove it.

remove your frame, loosen your Hammer lug until it is flush with the hammer body, and remove the ivg/main spring. Check the condition of your hammer and the threads

He already did that. He said that the front threads of the hammer are stripped.

mmm there was a question mark in front of it so I got confused

anyways- thats bad. you'll either have to retap it of buy a new hammer. Retapping would necessitate a new cocking rod to accomodate the thicker threads.

^^^ Yea, I would definatly go with a new hammer. You can get a new hammer for around $20.

I have seen the Shocktech Phat hammer on a lot of sites. I'm guessing that it is good because all ST parts I've used are great.
