sounds to me like you have one of a couple possible problems. Reg adjustment screw is all the way open allowing the reg to act as a gass threw grip. From the link to pbreview I can see that it is a 0-500 psi reg, so all the way open should still be stopping at 500 psi. Have you lubed the reg? it could be stuck open as well. Also I see that it has a gauge port. any chance you put the macro fitting on the gauge port? that would be after the reduction of pressure so if by chance you put your air fitting on the gauge port you would be bypassing the reg altogether. Get us some more info and we can try and help some more.

show me a pic of the top half looking in the gauge port and the macro line port.
The macro line port you should be able to see the piston. the gauge port you should not.

yes it would. It will also have an in and out port just like the one you currently have.
So you would still have the potential of hooking it up as a "gas threw grip" which is what you are doing. If the piston seal is blown or you have it hooked up wrong (macro fitting and gauge swaped) then it will do what you are describing.

Try switching your macro fitting and gauge, I bet thats all your problem is. (if not then you blew the piston oring.)

ya its very weird cuz i look in the input and I se the sping thing moving up and down when I ajust it so I have no clue... I have never mixed them up so that wouldent be it... I wouldent maybe its just my gauge...

Is there a way to see if its the piston thats messed up?

He's saying maybe Check It messed up and put the screw saying gauge on it in the macroline spot and vice versa.

To check your piston you would have to take your regulator apart.

OhhOhh one more question the screw on the bottom of the cocker underneith the rams is that for a gauge?

Do you mean on the front block? It was originally meant to put in a ASA adapter if you were to cut down the cocker into a mini, but it can be used for numerous other things cuz of the generic 1/8" size... it CAN be used for a guage, among a dozen other things.

sounds to me like you had them in the correct location. If you are seing the spring on the input side. So your next task is to tear down the reg and replace the piston oring.
check for debris like teflon or something that may be holding it open too.

and yes I have a gauge on my front block in the location you are describing, as Drktamer explained.
