You can't walk the prostock stock, even if you set the pull lighter. In the future look into a better trigger frame perhaps raceframe or eclipse products.

The only mech gun that you can really walk is a mag, and that's with lots of ups and fine-tuning.

To lighten, you would need to adjust the trigger spring. To shorten it, you have to turn some screw somewhere... I'm not familiar with WGP hinges.

its possible to walk a mech cocker...except you'd shoot 3 bps slower than if you just pulled the trigger

open the grip frame and adjust the set screw under the sear. this will raise the sear closer to the firing point. You will need to retime the cocker after, so be sure you know how to time it before you start changing the firing point.

get a new spring kit, you will need one anyways, like the madman spring kit comes with a lighter trigger spring and lighter sear springs.

i have a question about the madman spring kit though, it has two sear springs but is there a difference between them? one is like a regular spring and the other one is 2 or 3 mm shorter and is also tapered at one end, which one is lighter?

edit- and also, the springs are red-strong, blue-medium, and green-light but there is a 4th valve spring which i believe is yellow, what strength is that?

You CAN most definetely walk a mechanical cocker after EXtensive upgrades and skilled tweaking.
I'll list some steps.
You will need:
1. Shocktech Bomb or Belsales Hollowpoint 3-way.
2. Maddmann Spring Kit.
3. Rounded Hammer Lug.
Then you must:
1. Time the three-way as short as you possibly can. (towards the front of the pull).
2. Install the rounded hammer lug.
3. Put in a blue valve spring and green main spring from the maddmann kit. Put in the lightest maddmann sear spring. Take out the trigger return spring.

These simple steps will get you well on your way to being able to walk a mechanical. No matter what you buy for your mech, you will not be able to tune it nicely without extensive knowledge on how cockers work and trying different springs, parts, etc.
Good luck.

WGP sells a cam adjuster for $15. It gives you a choice between 7 different pull lengths. As long as you adjust your actuating rod so you can get air through your gun you can make it substantially shorter. I tried doing this with my trilogy but it failed since I cant adjust my actuating rod. But I just bought an 04 prostock and put it on and it works great. Took a good chunk out of my trigger pull. Only problem is it replaces the safety so you need a condom with you at all times.
