which feed neck to get?
im looking for a clamping feed neck that will fit onto my 05 prostock,
and also one that will fit a reloader B without having to sand it.
i was thinking about the shocker autococker clamping feed neck. will this work?
also, a store told me that its random if the loader will fit a feedneck b/c they are all different.
any suggestions?

I didn't think the prostock had a threaded feedneck.
I am pretty sure the STO, Blackmagic, orracle, are the only ones with threaded feednecks. (maybe the VF tacticle...)
So if you are planing to have it milled, you can do whatever you want. WPG will tap the outside of the neck, which has its benefits. big thick threads. its not getting stipped. but is also kindof tall.
Some guys tap the inside with an angel thread. that will allow you to use just about any custom feedneck made. but, will be easy to strip out the body and will cost a bit for the milling and ano.

CCM Heli-Cut Clamping feedneck. I have one on my impulse. And if i still had my cocker (2k3 worr cocker) which didnt have a threaded feedneck, i would have gotten it if i could have for it.

you may need to sand it a bit....but get something like a hybrid hed-lock or a Shocktech adjustable feed

thats good to know. I even checked armyoforr but it seems that they have not updated the site in quite some time.
as for feednecks that would fit, you can go with the "the grip" by wgp but its twist locking. I personally prefer a tooled or cam style. shocktech is tooled, and headlock 2 is cammed. better grip and easier to release when you need to. the twist locks are tough to get tight, then when you do, very tough to loosen. (I have had to use a strap wrench on multiple ocasions to remove a reloader B.)

yea, the 05 prostock is definitely threaded.
as for the shocktech and headlock2, those were my two choices. i just wanted to know if they would fit on my cocker.
im not to sure, but werent the older prostocks not threaded so they needed to be put on the gun differently?
*edit* so ive been looking around some more. it seems like the older prostocks were not threaded, and had to be threaded in order to have clamping feednecks, so i guess i shouldnt have a problem with the two feednecks above.
but now i have another question..lol.
whats the point of the beaver tail? it looks like a lot of people take it off...ive read that it works as an anti-cheating device, although i dont see how.
the only use it has to me is that it lets me know how far my back block will go back so i dont get hit with it. lol

ok..ONE more more question.
thanks for all your help guys, btw...
I was fooling around with the settings on my eblade, and i screwed the right side of the grip back on to close it. I noticed that the rubber grip slightly bent in the middle/back leaving a small gap between the rubber and the back of the grip.
The left side of the grip is seems to fit fine.
I tried adjusting the rubber grip, but everytime i screw the screws back in, that little gap appears. When i hold the gun, its fine, b/c my hand pushes the rubber back down.
right now i have some rubber bands on it to cover the gap since the circuits are exposed.
Anyone else have this problem?

beavertail question.
The hammer is propelled forward to the valve by a spring. The IVG allows you to increase spring tension to conroll the impact force on the valve. If you were to push on the cocking rod (that is threaded into the hammer) then pull the trigger, you would be artificially increasing the force on the hammer. ( your gun could chrono for a ref at 280 FPS but when you "cheat" you could get 400 fps.)
As for the grip. I have yet to see one fit perfectly. Its not weather proof even if its closed correctly. I wouldn't worry about it. You could try to bend it a little bit releave the tension so it sits flat.
and back to the feedneck, any feedneck that has "cocker" threads will work. Shocktech or headlock 2 are great choices.

Don't waste money on a new feedneck. Just put some tap on your hopper's tube. It will stick :P. Thats what I do cause I'm way to cheap.
