Try cleaning out your breech, feedneck, bolt, and barrel completely and use some good quality paintballs, cuz this is the first time I've ever heard anything about a stiffi being innaccurate.

What it sounds to me is you are most likely not getting a good paint to barrel match. Inaccuracy is the most common side effect to poor paint to bore size match.

This is why even a Dye Titanium Boomstick; that last time I checked (which was a while ago, I'm not even sure if they still make them) that costs $180 is still going to be as inaccurate as the $2 barrel that came with your gun if the paint to barrel match is off.

After saying that, I can not think of any reason, short of money or not, why anyone would buy an aftermarket uni-bore barrel, sure the polishing inside might be better, and the overall craftsmanship of the barrel is better, but if your stock barrel and your new barrel are the same bore size, BAM, your going to have roughly the same accuracy.

So, what I would do is, go to your field, and barrow a few different brands of paint from people in the staging area, and see which ones fit the best in your particular barrel. A good fit is when there are 2 contact points between the inside of the barrel and the paint, and if the ball needs A LITTLE blow to get it out the barrel. It should not get stuck and require a ton of force to get out, and should not just roll out the end either.

And back to you wanted a barrel kit between the Pipe and the Freak. Many will say Pipe because it is "more durable" blah blah, but to tell you the truth, in the long run, as long as you get the good paint to bore match, and the polishing inside the barrel is decent, any barrel kit will work just the same. It's pretty much all cosmetics.

The freak has inserts, and the Pipe has interchangeable complete barrel backs, it’s whichever you prefer really.

If you have any further questions concerning anything about cockers, and so on, feel free to send me a PM.

Just to clarify on dif between pipe and freak:

Pipe is a bit better designed and will probably last longer simply because it's made up of two parts, the back and the front, whilst the freak has the back, the front, as well as the insert.

If you have just one gun, IMO the pipe is better, if you have multiple guns w/ different barrel threads, the freak is better cuz all you need is one back for each gun and you use the inserts and tip on all the guns.

I use the freak just cuz I got it pretty cheap.
