Chopped Ball

The first time I got my eblade, I tested it out with my revvy. After a couple hundred rounds, I chopped a ball. Eyes were def on. So I was thinking that maybe the revvy pushed a ball past the detent?
I this possible? I heard of eggs doing that.

I just got a reloader B. And Im worried that I might chop even more balls. Is the problem most likely the detent? Do a lot of ppl change it?

i have a 05 prostock all stock.

Reloader b will be way better than a revvy. Cockers are pretty loud, like i had a reloader b on my old worrbladed cocker. It was fine, it might be your detents. Or your gun isnt timed right.

or the eye is dirty, or the sensitivity is too low or too high for your paint color, or its possible it has something to do with the battery being low or the battery wiring harness being pinched so your gun isnt receiving full power... also check to make sure your eye wires arent pinched. thats about all i can think of...

edit: also could have just been bad paint, or a barrel break and not a chop.

If it was just one in a few hundred, it was most likely just a bad ball.

As for the revvy pushing paint pass the detents, not going to happen. The revvys are not force feed like the egg, they just "stir" the paint around in the hopper so it will fall down the feedneck without you having to shake the hopper.

I use an egg on my cocker with stock detents, and have never had a ball pushed through, I think you will be fine.

don't forget about the last ball in the loader chop. without a ball stacked on top the last ball in the loader is known to chop. and no, your revvy would not "push' the ball past the detent. (as jim said it just stirs the paint.)
I run a reloader B on my cocker, stock detent. no problems.
