psychoballistics autococker

ok i know these thing aren't anywhere near high quality autocockers but no matter how many times i tell my friend that that aren't worth buying he won't listen. but since he's getting one, what one should he get? The lightning or the super bolt? the single trigger or double? if he did get the double can he just change the trigger?

Super bolt has threaded feedneck, and mini cocker. In my opinion, it's but ugly though, and it has a twist lock 1/2 metal bolt, so if you want to replace it, you either have to drill the backblock, or replace the backblock.
Lightning deluxe has a normal backblock, but the feed isn't threaded, so you can't get a clamping feedneck.
Either is a great gun. They might not have the greatest pneumatics in the world, but if you're looking for a cocker to build up, and like the looks of the super bolt, they are without peer, hands down the greatest cockers to buy. Can build an awesome ebladed cocker using this body for ~$450 that's completely personalized.

their not half bad of cockers, and their dirt cheap. They weren't a good choice back when they were in the 200's all he really needs to do is with the spare money get a new 3-way because i hear the stock 3-ways are leaky. Then i also hear the paint chips off but you can always get custom ano or a new body

Tell him to get the double trigger, because the single-trigger models are slide triggers (Which completely suck ass). The model of the gun he gets is totally up to him, I chose the superbolt for its looks alone, becasue both guns have the same pneu's and cost about the same.

Edit: Yeah, get a new 3-way, too... My 3-way was pretty short, but did have a little leakage. Also, you should replace your LPR... This thing is mostly either on or off, with little in between. The ram didn't give me too much trouble, quite a decent ram with pretty fast cycling speeds, but I replaced it with an orracle STO anyway.

the lightning is only $90 and the super bolt is only $100. does any one know how decent of a stock barrel they come with? or if its a large or small bore? can the double trigger be changed to a different trigger or is he better off buying a whole new trigger frame?

Once again, you have displayed how very little you know about this gun.
The stock barrel on this gun is actually quite decent. If you do upgrade to something, get a true DYE ultralite barrel. Even with this upgrade, you won't see a big difference in accuracy. Also, this gun has AUTOCOCKER THREADS!!! Gawd, what kind of focker manufacturer makes a gun with spyder threads?

Edit: Double trigger is perfectly fine, until he wants to upgrade it to an e1 or an e2.

is it possible to swap out just the trigger and put something like a blade trigger in? is the bolt on the lightning changeable unlike the superbolt? how much would a used e1 run him in the near future?

Yes, the trigger frame can be swapped out with any cocker compatible frame. Yes, the bolt is a standard cocker bolt, as is the backblock, in the lightning deluxe, so it's easily replaceable. Used e1's go for $120-$200. I wouldn't pay more than $150 for one, personally.

OH...you MIGHT be able to, but I'm not too sure. The frame on the deluxe is rather slim compared to most frames, so I don't know that most triggers would fit.

LPR, stock one is absolute garbage. Don't know if QEV's fit, since an mp4 will be going on mine.

actually they arent that bad, i bought mine when it was stil 200+ but id replace the front kit. i got a micro rock, nexus ram, shocktech valve and soon to eblade it. it is kind of long and does not come timed but its a great gun to tinker around with. um about bolts i dont think u can fit it because the bolt is a lot longer than the avg cockers. so u would have to buy a aftermarket backblock + bolt.(well i tried some shocktech bolts and another aftermarket bolt and both did not fit.) oh and watch out for the feed getting in the way of the bolt some guns that came from the factory had the feed way to low scratching the bolt when shooting and small problems like that.

Actually i've been trying to time mine and its pretty hard. The stock barrel is actually really good with the right match. And I couldn't fit two fingers on the trigger so I ordered a new wgp hinge. I dont think you have to change the stock bolt because isn't it delrin?

yes, stock bolt is delrin. Not the highest quality bolt in the world, but not BAD. You may, in the future, decide you'd like to lose a little more weight and thus replace it with a SLIK or Stiffi bolt.

Stock superbolt bolt is not delrin. Not sure if you're talking about the lightning, just clearing that up. not difficult to modify the p-block to accept normal bolts.
