Best Barrel Kit?

Alright all,
Now I know the best barrel kit for the autococker is the Kaner, but me wallet doesn't stretch that far.

I am undecided between the Evil Barrel Kit/7 Part Empire Kit, proberly leaning towards the Empire.

I have a 05 SuperStock SF, anybody have any preference between the two?
Or any other kits you can recommend? Don't think I can be bothered with the three parts systems (i.e. smart parts)

Cheers

DP

evil pipes are nice barrel kits, a friend of mine shoots one. you can get full JJ ceramic barrel kits for 150 i think, 5 backs, 3 fronts, but ive never shot one before. and btw, there isnt such a thing as 'the best barrel kit for a certain gun.' the same barrel kit will shoot exactly the same on every gun as long as the paint is the same.

the best barrel kit is actually a poison arrow pro kit. and after owning one ($300 for 4 inserts) I can tell you first hand that matching the bore is 99% of the performance gain. Sure it was nice. but was it any nicer than my SS freak kit for half the price? it was so hard to tell the difference I would say the varience in paint negates any further gain we can get from a barrel. (over the initial bore match that is.)

The next thing to consider is that the ball does accellorate for the first 5 to 8 inches of travel. so a sleeved or back bore match is going to be better than a fin in my opinion.

the next factor to consider is if you change guns. how easy is it to port over to another platform? With a freak you just get another back and you are done. (ussually buy a used and sell your old one for no $$ out of pocket)

All things considered I choose a freak kit. I can put it on any gun, can change guns cheaply and can match the bore and allow it to accellorate and run a more efficient gun.
