cocking rod
I noticed my bolt is to far back when I cock my gun. I went to adjust the length of my cocking rod and I can't turn it clockwise. How do I turn it? There is an allen screw in the back and it wont budge.

Take plyers and twist it COUNTER clockwise to take it off. What do you mean its TOO far back? Just take off your cocking rod and twist your backblock so its a little bit closer. If that doesnt work. Go to the sticky at the top of this page and check the timing thread.

the bolt inside the gun. The bolt has to be about level with the back of the feedneck when cocked but mine is about an inch to far back. How do i make it closer to the feedneck when cocked? I am suppose to twist the cocking nob clockwise right?

first take out the set screw in the back of the cocking rod. when its out, turn the knob on the end of the cocking rod clockwise until the bolt is at the right length.

Wait... The bolt is an inch too far back? How'd that happen? Did you buy a turtle cocker or ego bolt on accident or what?
When the back block is forward, how far away from the body is the back block?

Its the stock bolt, doesnt your cocking rod length adjust how far back your bolt goes?

You can barely fit a piesce of paper between them.

Alright, so you can't move the back block.
I was just wondering because the cocking rod (the one that I have, at least) doesnt even adjust an inch.
I guess you could screw in the cocking rod to get it to move the bolt forward, if it moves that much.
Is it really an inch too far back?? With that much, it sounds like something is seriously wrong.

Oh, alrighty then.
You should just be able to unscrew the set screw and move it forward.
If you cant get the set screw out you could...
1) Use the locktite that needs heat to release, and put some on the end of an allen wrench, then you stick it in the set screw and wait for it to dry, and then you'll be able to unscrew it. Use a blowdryer or heat gun to get the set screw off of the allen wrench.
2) I forgot the other ways i was thinking...
*I haven't tried that way, I just heard about it on an RC forum, so it may mess up the allen wrench, so beware!*
Edit:
And I thought you turn it Counter Clockwise to get it out... but I may be wrong...

yeah, if there is loctit on it, you will have to heat it up real good to get it loose. then just brute force should get it out.

don't untwist your back block out. all i can say about your set screw is have someone who is strong try to get it out. you shouldn't have to heat it up to get the set screw able to be removed. they don't use red loctite on the set screw.

Thats not what I meant you guys. I meant to put locktite on the allen wrench so it will hold better.

i just read the whole thing and it makes no sense, it sounds like both of you are talking about 2 completely different things with different people. is the bolt too far back in the closed position, or are you saying that it comes back too far when it opens to load another ball?
if its too far back when closed, youre screwed. if it comes back too far when you shoot, make sure your cocking rod is actually screwed into the hammer all the way. then adjust it until its right.
