My friends letting me borrow his E2'ed Series 5, and I cant figure this thing out!

It bounces/ramps (can't tell which) to 12 bps, then stays there. How do I check which it is?? I just need some help, I'm clueless and dont have a manual.

bounce would be if the gun fires more than once per pull, where as ramping is when the gun electronically adds shots to your strings of paint. try tapping the trigger a few times fairly quickly, and if it only shoots one shot per pull, its ramping, which means you just need to change modes to get it back to semi. if you find it fires a few shots per pull, make sure the debounce filter is all the way up. if it is, and you still have bounce, lengthen your trigger pull a little bit, and/or give the magnets a little more resistance.

How do I get to the debounce filter?

I'm thinking it's bounce, but I REALLY dont want to screw with my friends trigger setup.

ok, what you want to do is turn on your grip, and take off the right side, or the battery side, of the grip frame. close to the top of the frame there should be a small orange button, press that to go to the setup menu. once there, go to the filter menu. There are two areas here that deal with bounce, TT band and TT time. for no bounce, turn TT band all the way up, and TT time all the way down. if you have any more questions, here is a link to the owners manual. http://planeteclipse.com/folders/dow..._Manual_V1.pdf

so its not your gun and you want to screw with the settings... hmmm
If that was my gun I would smack the taste out of your mouth!

What you should do is call your friend. (unless thats a code for you stole it)

If you have a legitimate reason to change any settings then convince me of that and have the version of the board in your next post. (.24, 1.10)

Definately call your friend up and have him tell you how to do it. Its better then to do that then break it. 9/10 cocker malfunctions are caused by the user.
