Which gun?
I've decided that I want to buy a new gun. The five that are in my price range are:
1) Trilogy Competition (eliminated)
2) Trilogy Pro (eliminated)
3) 05 Prostock
4) Ion
5) Promaster
Which one should I get? What are the pros and cons of the cockers compared to the ion and promaster? Should I even consider one of these guns?

ion and promaster can get higher rate of fires because their electronic. if you blade the cockers they will be just as fast. but it costs 300 bucks to do that.

It depends what you want out of the box and how much you're willing to put into it.
If you want a fast gun out of the box, I'd get the Promaster or the Ion. That means you'll have to get HPA and an electro hopper as well though. If you want a nice gun that you can upgrade hte crap out of, get the cocker.
Edit:
Whoaaaaaaah sorry about all those posts... I posted at the end of class and it wasnt going so i kept clicking it. Whooopsies!

PyroPenguin was it necessary to make 6 of the same posts?
anywayz i recommend the ION because of how fast it is and the price it has it's a very good choice
but if you really want a cocker i say 05/04 cocker

If you want a cocker...
Find a used already bladed cocker. You will save soooo much money that way.

Probably while the boards were malfunctioning, tried to post, but it was hanging, so he just kept hitting submit.

Promaster. But i love cockers more than anything, so. A cocker with e2 and all the goodies >promaster. But mech cocker sucks compared to almost any electric gun.

i got offered
an ANS GX4 with a WORRBLADE FOR 355 + EVO 2
I got a Dye reflex ebladed instead...
If you really want a cocker, I say go look @ the sales section/www.paintballclassifieds.com and find yourself a good deal. Buying new is a good way to get jipped for cockers IMO. U can probally find IONS and Promasters cheaper used too
+trilogies kinda get blown away if u compare to the others on that list
but then again, i'm kinda noobish so everything i've said might be wrong.....

Alright, i've eliminated the trilogys from my choices. I don't like the look of the promaster AT ALL. It is one of the fugliest guns i've ever seen. I like the look of the 05 prostock. I don't really need an electronic gun because i don't like to throw that much paint. I think the prostock is going to be my gun of choice. Anybody have one or know of any problems with it?
