it looks like it eliminates the back block, but what would that do to increase accuracy/ performance?
we need more info

If it eliminates the back block, then it eliminates kickback with it, and could probably increase cycling speeds quite a bit.
I'm guessing that an air bolt + mq = secks.

wow.....
Hmm..... im getting a mq. but the body im using isnt like that. The bolt is open in the back... so i guess the "air bolt" wouldnt work on it. But if this works good, after i get my mq i might switch back to an old body.
Edit-
www.airbolts.com for video. and cockers are like mullets...... their coming back in style.

someone on the nation said they got their entire cocking mass down to 10 grams and it was patent pending... maybe this is what they were talking about

Yea it does look like it has a lot of kick, awesome idea though. It looks kind of weird without a ram.

they are using a mini ram and a stubby bolt, the ram is in the top tube and it does have an MQ valve. I also asked him about the kick and he said it was the guy shooting it, and the qloader issues...
you think he would make a new vid or something. its a great idea and reduced cocking mass is nice. but it will not increase speed due to the longer hoses used for the ram. If they would move the noid back too, then they may have some claims. Its a great idea, I love my halfblock though.

what if you widened/drilled out the lower tube in a way that the noid and hoses would fit inside? you could take out the spacer for the mq valve, put the noid in there, and still use the IVG to hold everything in.
but this is under the assumption that the noid would work without the cover... i think the way that it works, it needs that cover to work. but you could always get a timmy noid or something...
then all thats left to figure out is what to do with the lpr....

the MQ takes alot of the lower tube space. I have a teammate that wants to explore a similar idea. Without the sear trip noid in the frame, there is plenty of room for the cocking solenoid... we will see what we can come up with.

what would be wrong with leaving the LPR where its at? alot of guns have things sticking out of the front. But are they actually producing the airbolt, or is it just an idea they had? Because i would get one if they were for sale........

moving the noid will allow for shorter runs of LP tubing to the ram. also conceal it in the frame would be attractive to some and not to others.
and yes they are selling them.
