superbolt questions
Ok i got my superbolt in the mail the other day. I put my wgp hinge trigger on it, and put the trilogy reg on it and hooked up my macro kit. But i have a few questions.
#1) Do you need a beavertail to play in a tourney? How do I get a screw to put the beavertail on the gun?
#2) I need a new ram, 3-way, and lpr. I want to spend the least amount of money possible but still get decent performance. I don't plan on getting an eblade untill next year, so i don't need the BEST. I was thinking a sto ram, tickler lpr, and bomb 3-way. Is there anything cheaper than those that will still perform as well?
#3) What threads are the feedneck? I even asked psychoballistics and they didn't reply. I'm sure someone knows what threads it has. What feedneck will keep my profile the smallest?
#5) How often should I oil the weird bolt it has, and what lube should I use?
#6) If i buy new pnues what else do I need? Locktite? Teflon tape? Any hoses, or tubing?
#7) I read the stickies about hoppers, but i don't believe i will max out revvy. And i dont plan to be shooting more then 6-7 bps. And if i could use a gravity it will take off almost a pound of weight, i play front so it would help alot. So do I really need a revvy?
Hopefully a few of you can answer some of these questions. Any help is appreciated.

1) i'd say yes, but i'm not 100% sure. i will say yes and be 99% sure though. usually when u buy a beavertail, it'll come w/ a screw, and if it doesn't, sometimes u can buy them seperatly. if all else fails, take it to Home Depot and have them find a screw that'd fit (i'd call first cuz it'd be weird to take in a paintball gun)
2) if you're really gonna eblade it, save yourself the money buy getting a Nexus or belsales ram. Even though they're more expensive, you won't need a new one when you eblade it. Bombs are nice, as are ticklers. See if you could find a Micro rock and put a rock knob on it...that'd be better (in my opinion)
3) i'd like to say cocker threaded, but again i'm not sure. i've heard ppl say it's angel threaded, but i doubt it. it's most likely cocker. probly a Bob Long or CCM
5) i'd say before you play and after. i'm not sure, though...haven't used a cocker in a long time (buying one again soon) dye lube works nice.
6) teflon tape. u might need new hoses, but u probly could use the old ones instead of replacing
7) yes. it's just a better thing to do. u don't have to risk balls getting stuck or double feeding or chopping constantly if you get the revy, b/c i bet u'll have lots of problems if you use gravity playing front. if you're going to eblade it, you might as well get an egg (or halo of you've got more money) now if you can find one cheep, b/c revy's don't have much resale value, although the longer u wait for an egg the cheaper it'll get.
i was planning on buying a superbolt, but then talked myself out of it b/c i could get way better with the money i have.

#6) depending on how it comes you may need to loctite the barbs in place and you will also need to hoseing if you dont use your old ones.

I'm assuming you've already gotten a uni and a inline for it...
1. E2 or race, including drilling for the eyes
2. Real LPR, I like the rock or micro rock
3. better ram. CCM w/ QEV if you want to spend as little as possible but get a good ram, wgp mp4 if you want to get one still inexpensive but better, belsales w/ 2 QEV's if you want to spend a little more.
This will make it tourney ready, although still not top of the heap. As you get more money, get a better bolt with a delrin backblock and pullpin, and then get an MQ valve when they become available. This would put your cocker on par with basically any gun made.

Internals are basically the same as the stock WGP internals...nothing wrong with them. Maybe a spring kit if you want to hold you over until you MQ it, but don't waste the money on a full internal kit.
