Mysterious air leak

When i go to gas up my gun air starts pourin' out of the eblade solenoid so i ripped that apart to check the gasket and it was a little bit dirty so i cleaned it off put it back together and gased it up again and it was still leaking out of it. What else is there to check?

Check out your LPR, clean and rebuilt it and reset it.

The e-way noid is designed to leak when your LPR pressure is too high. Turn down your LPR and try it again. Do the whole one drop of oil in the ASA and dryfire it to work sum lube into the gun.

It wont fire at all though the bolt gets pushed out like as if the timing was off or something

What? Are you saying the back block is cycling, but it won't release air? What happened to the leaking?

no im saying when i screw my tank in the back block gets pushed out and wont fire at all and air pours out from underneath the solenoid cover. I took another look at my solenoid gasket and it looks like it may have 2 very very small cracks in it, so that may be the reason for the leak.

It sounds like your noid is completely f*ed.

could be an oring inside the actual noid... could also be low batteries. extremely weird stuff like this has been known to happen when your batteries are low.

edit: the batteries could at least explain the bolt getting stuck back, but im not so sure about the leaking part. i'd recommend lowering your lpr and changing batteries (in that order) before taking apart the noid

is the frame on or off? that will rule out batteries. also there is an orange button on the noid, push it, does it cycle? or continue to leak?
Also you shouldn't be doing anything that will put pressure to the noid until you know your LPR is working correctly. tear it down, clean relube and confirm that it stops air flow by releasing all spring tension (unless its a belsales or nexus then max spring tension) and remove the hose from the noid that comes from the LPR. gas up the cocker and confirm no air is coming out of the LPR tubing. turn it up a little to confirm that you are able to adjust the air flow. if it creaps or the adjuster has no effect then you need to address the LPR. If and only after you confirm the LPR is working correctly, hook it up to your noid and test that. otherwise, you will blow this noid, then pay $90 for a new one, and blow that one too.

ok jaggy i did what you said to my Lpr and it does in fact stop the air flow when the spring tension is let out so that rules out the Lpr. Tomorrow 10/17 i should be getting a new noid gasket which hopefully is the problem.

ok once i start to increase the pressure on the Lpr it starts to leak again, so does this mean i need a new solenoid?

I would start with the gasket, but do this first.
start with the gun aired up and the trigger frame on. back LPR all the way out so it doesn't cycle or leak at all. Start pulling the trigger as you increase the LPR pressure.
Does it start to cock the gun at all? If you get to the point where it cocks the gun every time and its not leaking you are fine. give it a 1/4 turn more and its done.
If it starts to leak, when does it? right when pressure first gets put on the noid? if its leaking where is it leaking? one of the holes up top? or around the gasket?
if its leaking around the gasket, replace the gasket. if its leaking around a barb, then you just need to add some sealant. If its leaking some where like a seam on the noid or another hole that shouldn't be, you may need another noid.

ok i replaced the gasket and when i gased it up i increased the pressure so that it would recock itself. When i got close to it recocking thats when it started to leak and i kept increasing the pressure just to get it to recock and it was still just leaking more air

its leaking out underneath the cover towards the front of the solenoid. I even coated the gasket with oil and reinstalled it. Then i did the same thing increased the pressure and before i can even get it high enough to get the gun to recock it starts to leak.

Is it leaking at the gasket?
