How do you run your Co2 on your cocker?
I'm gonna set up my cocker for woods ball where the only fill I can get is Co2. How do you have your air lines set up? I know there are people who want to know other than me. I dont know if I should run it through a reg or even if it needs it. Help me please.
EDIT:
Do any of you run macro line on Co2? I dont know if I should or not. I dont know if the temp. of Co2 will mess it up or not.

Yes, you should always use a regulator no matter what you are using as propellant. Although using a more harsh has such as Co2 will take its toll on your seals and o-rings in your regulator, as well as the whole gun, it should still be fine.
Make sure the Co2 tank you are using is equipped with an anti-siphon tube and your cocker is mechanical. Co2 should NEVER be used in an electronic cocker.

right make sure its anti siphoned or you can very easily freeze your marker and your hand for that matter....now if you are wondering how to hook up the hoses in the front pneus well that only changes when you use a slide trigger over a hinge so depending on that you might have to change your hoses but its easy to figure out (the bolt opens when you want it to close and closes when you want it to open)

^I'm just curiose, how would the CO2 end up freezing your hand? The anti syphon tube only keeps out liquid CO2, but the air itself is still gunna b freezing... This wasnt a flame or anything just a question. I never had to use CO2 on a cocker, only time I used it was on my friends impulse. it had a leaking reg too so CO2 just came out of everywhere and my hand did get pretty frosted up heh.

The thing that makes it cold is the action of he co2 expanding into the gas, which still has to happen. The air being propelled through the gun is still chilled even with an anti-siphon, and ends up making the regulator/body and many other things pretty cold.

It also depends on where you have your hand when cucling the marker. The 3 way vents gas and Co2 is cold, if you have your hand next to the vent on your 3 way you will get a frosty hand. I already know how to change the hoses and when (^frame change^) Any thing else for running Co2? So far we need to regulate it, anti siphon it and keep your pneus hoses straight.

I have heard some people have experienced macroline ruptures due to Co2. But when I have ran Co2 through macro, I had no problems.

Do you know what type of macro line they were using? Do you think that macro line with a working pressure of 1000psi and a burst pressure of 3000 psi would be fine with Co2?

i would think so...i am not positive about co2 preset tank pressure but i would assume it to be less than 1000psi...i ran co2 on lots of macroline and have never had problems but i also don't know the rating since i just bought it at the local pb shop
see if your tank says anything about having a preset output and then double check that against your ml rating

Co2 tanks are not regulated. The pressure of co2 is usually around 800 psi so there is no need for the tank to have a regulator to bring it down.
any macroline should work fine for co2. Just make sure you change it every once in awhile(once a month if you play often) since it can wear down. I had one burst on me during a game once and it was very loud...

Alright guys that helps a ton. I was thinking the pressure for Co2 was around 800 psi but I didnt want to chance it. If any one is looking for some cheap *new* macro line I can help.
