Upgrade autococker or buy ion or proto matrix
I bought an 03 autococker brand new from WGP a few months ago that they still had in their wharehouse and I got a Smart Parts 2-piece 14" All American Barrel, Smart Parts on/off,shocktech mini drop forward and WGP delron bolt for it. I would like to start getting more into speed ball and I am thinking of getting either Worrblade or E-Blade. Would this setup be good or would the money be better spent on a new ion(reasonably priced) or proto matrix? I'm just trying to figure out if I should invest more money into my autococker or sell my setup and get the Ion or matrix if it will be better. I've attached a pic so you can check out my autococker. I also have the box, manual and all stock parts plus this gun still has over 7 months of warranty left. BTW... how much do you think I can get for it? And is there a another gun I should be looking at? ($500 or so)

it would cost alot of cash to make that gun compete with the others you listed for the price. I like the proto alot, and aftermarket ION's are pretty nice too. Other guns to consider in the same price range used are, nerve, shocker, DM4 or maybe a nice half block cocker.

Yeh, I agree with jaggy. I would look into gettin the proto or a DM4. Resale on cockers isn't very high, so you probably won't get very much money for yours.

If your planning on keeping your eggy (Evolution II.) Then make sure that you have the 2nd gen. shell. The first one they had put in it was brittle and broke realy easy. If some one is shooting realy hot, they can blow a hole in the first gen. shell. Seen it happen to one of my buddies, not preaty.
I would recomend the proto. What ever you decide, you might want to consider getting a halo. Better build and design thatn an eggy.

It's a severely underrated gun. Most people prefer the Shocker over it, but it shoots almost exactly the same as the Shocker. For the prices that nerves are going used, they pretty much can't be beat. |

but....since they are the same as the shocker...and shockers are cheaper and lighter, and have the same board...
between the nerve and shocker i would definatly go with a shocker
but between those choices i would get the proto, they are amazing...mine ripped...

After seeing these responses I'm definitely not ugrading my cocker or getting an ion. But now I've heard good things about the Nerve (like shocker and cost is good). So I'd like to get some feedback on the Nerve (new) compared to the 05 proto.

A nerve is basically an upped/faster impulse. A proto would be a much more pleasing gun. You would also get better resale if you were to sell it.
