Eblade Autococker vision problem

I have a new to me used Ebladed Autococker. the vision doesnt work. i have tried cleaning the eye, and removed it from the feed neck the marker just shoots at a very slow rate of fire with vision on. I have vision in three other markers so ia m sure theres an issue. With the vision turned off it will shoot paint faster than my egg can keep up so id like to have the vision working. Any ideas or common problem areas. i have a digital lab scope so I can measure switch outputs if anyone has an idea what to do. i am brand new to cockers and am relaly looking forward to shooting my children with this gun. Even more so than my last two guns. Ha Ha. thanks in advance

Your twisted...

Either the line got pinched in the frame to body connection, or the eye wire has become unconnected inside the trigger frame. Or the eye is just plain bad.

ADM, this is a bounce beam system, one side sends light, the other side recieves it. to test the "eye" go to the "sho" menu in trigger frame and record the settings with bolt closed and open. the measurements are based on 1 to 255 1 being all light is returned and 255 being no light is being returned. Typically what happens is the protective cover gets worn off of the recieve side and open/closed bolt makes no difference (or very little difference) in the light being reflected. Once you have a known working good eye, the setup should be so that the closed bolt, open bolt and paint in breach readings are all different. (dark paint may require some sensativity adjustment)
A neat trick is to apply some clear nail polish to the front of the eye to help protect it from wear and some liquid electrical tape on the connectors to protect them from corosion.

**disclamer** I am assuming that you are refering to the eye "not working" when you are testing with paint. without paint it will be forced to time out before it will allow another shot. test the eye as I have described above and replace if necessary. (I keep 3 or 4 spares in my toolbox for myself and my team.)

I have no Vision

Sometimes I feel like I have no vision anyway. Ok so My new used marker doesnt have working vision I went to eye then show on the LED screen and watched the numbers it is making a change from say140 ish to 250 is when you manually open and close the bolt. With a bright yellow paintball in the feed neck its very low numbers 10 or so when its gone its around 250 with the bolt back. So this makes me think the eye is actually working. i did find the wires crisply folded under the frame and the insualtion broken at one point but not really damaging the wires. I moved it and insualted the brake in the insulation. Still have no eye operation with paint. Just thunk thunk thunk rate of fire. Any other ideas or something I am missing or a setting that is out of whack maybe. With the eyes off I feel a great amount of joy thinking that soon maybe even tomarrow one or all of my children my be in front of me for a breif moment in time. LOL. And I say say I have no vision. Thanks for your help so far I now understand one more function of my new used marker which is more of what its about any way. I will be fine with whatever I have to learn to get it fixed. Or I would still be shooting Tippmans. PS I had made a great deal of posts on my solution to CO2 ( I live in the middle of no whore) and now have two large 4500 PSI welding tanks 2 scuba fill tanks and HPA tanks for my guns, to get me through the day. So to anyone who might have read my posts over the last year and stated just get HPA well i did. I guess in a big way. Have a great day. My mother in laws coming over so i need to stay hidden. Maybe I can lock myself in here.

sounds to me like the eye is working perfectly. 10 w/ a yellow paintball means it's reading almost 100% and then to 250 w/ breach open means its reading almost nothing and 140 with the bolt is absolutly perfect. the board can now determin the exact phase of the firing cycle by the eye reading.

BTW you can test the eye funtionality with out shooting, just take out the cocking rod and cycle paint and fill the barrel

ok, next check to make sure you have a good seal on the eye itself. if sunlight can get in to the breach it can majorly screw with the eye readings. also set the frame to factory fast. (turn on and push the orange button inside the grip frame to get to the menue) the only other factor that I can really think of would be that broken connection. but if you have repaired it and isolated each wire, it should be fine. A wire grounding to the body can nuke battery life too. sounds like that is handled though.
keep at it, and keep us posted.

good work on the HPA, I have a K tank in my garage! (I feel your pain)

I now Have Vision' SSSS

thanks for all your help. i rest all the timing specs to one I found on this site for a fast rate of fire with little bounce. My new used cocker now rocks and rolls and I am no longer afraid of the buttons and LED achronyms i may not understand them all but time will fix that. Great, all is well I think the sun is even brighter now. Now to round up my children for a little family counseling. LOL.
