Hmm Lightning bolt haven't seen one of those in ages.. good times good times..
On a side note have you ever tested the differences between a full sized and mini when it comes to volume with an MQ-Valve?
I suppose I'm in the minority in liking the sidewinder, than again I'm also probably in the minority at liking the 2Liter visually speaking :P Maybe its an AKA thing...

This is the definition of gheto fab! (I supose I would need to finish it up w/ some duct tape...)
The lightning is all I had for delrin bolts left to 'give' away.
as for the mini vs full. I had issues with the MQ on my mini halfblock, but DRG and I were talking about a possible issue with the air screw and the vert adapter causeing a "pinch" on the air flow. Not sure how much you followed my testing of the mini MQ when it was still first gen, but ronin had me trying all kinds of things.
Drg happened to mention this posibillity after I had sold the marker, so I was never able to test it. (Hence the reason I bored out the airscrew on this one.)
I also took care to mark the air screw so I knew where it would be possitioned and what would need to be widened. also took special care not to interupt any flow with the LPR durring install.
This is also a 2nd gen MQ valve, Since my issues, they upped the max pressure to help eliminate it.
Long story short, I don't think I will be having any velocity issues w/ this one.
I take about 1 inch off when mini'ing and the air screw is 7/16ths if memory serves. that would account for a substatial amount of volume lost. (way more than a volumizer air screw can provide.)
as for sidewinders... My fav reg! I love them! (even have one on my karni)
Cost of the gun? That depends on if your going to play on my team or not
This guy is getting one heck of a deal. I can tell you that. (hence my reluctance to throw all new shiny pneumatics at it... or even a new bolt.)
anyway, I wanted to show what a little initiative and some elbow grease could produce.
