I dont know much about triliogy cockers... but if a normal cocker does that it could be because they bolt was put back in upside down. Thats the best thing I can think of that isnt overly complicated.

Make sure that the the hole on the underside of the bolt is facing downward.

make sure its not in training mode. other than that, it could have the lpr set too low or the battery could be dead.

scathed, 99% of the time, this is a low battery. make him change the battery first.
(nothing has changed, was working now its just cycling not firing paint.)

The reason is because its a sear tripper, the added friction of the sear trip noid is the first thing to starve for power when the battery gets below half power.
(pull trigger, marker cocks and fails to shoot) as it cocks it forces the ball past the detent and can cause a roll out.

Other than battery or training mode. if the LPR is set too low, the back block never pushes far enough back to catch the hammer. (it would fail to load paint if this were the case so I doubt it.)

Can you manually pull the back block back and force the hammer to catch on the sear?

lastly, I hate to even mention because you said it was working then stopped, is the lug depth. I seriously doubt he adjusted it, so check the battery first. If thats not it, I'll tell you how to adjust the lug depth. (or you can check the sticky )

things to check:
the battery
lug depth
lpr (low pressure reg)
spring tension
timing (the sear noid might not be getting enouh watts)
training mode

other than that theres nothing else you can check unless theres somthing ubstructing the inside of the lower tube.

have him (or you) put up some pics of the messed up wires. If i can look at it, I might be able to fix it and I have a lot of extra wires and plugs laying around from an old video camera that I took appart to figure out how it worked and couldnt remember how to put it back togather haha. If you cant get it fixed i'll do it for free, but he has to cover shipping. sounds like jaggy is offering his services, he does some good work.
