Upgrade Time?

hey guys i have only been playing paitnball for about a year now and i wanted to upgrade from my stock diablo wrath. I was thinking about getting a cocker because of all the rave about their accuracy and performance. I was thinking about the 05 superstock or the mini e orracle. I think i have a spending limit of 400 dollars and the e orracle is 399 while the 05 superstock is 370. I was also looking into the system x xonik autococker imitation. Can you guys please post some feedback

Thanks

i have an 05 superstock, i love it. only problem ive had so far is the battery terminal, and it took me all of three dollars to fix. accuracy is great, and the thing is fast too. never had an orracle, but i know the superstock is a good buy.

i like my 2k4 e2'd prostock, but the only limitation for me is the board. i can't get faster than 12 bps on it, and i know my fingers r faster cuz i can get 12 bps on my calculator. but there a little over priced. u can get better deals with ions and promasters.

Most calculators are not quite accurate. You can shoot over a chrono and the chrono will give a completely different reading than the trigger frame. It honestly isnt the boards fault tho. It might be the trigger, or the fact that it is optical instead of microswitch, but the board can definately go higher than 12 bps.

To the thread starter: If you want to get an autococker, honestly its best to go used. See if you can find anyone in your area selling one. The resale on autocockers is very low right now, so for 500 dollars you could get a VERY nice cocker. I would stay away from buying used online since you don't have any experience with cockers tho. You need to be able to shoot the gun and see that it works fine.

The orracle will perform the best. I would forget about the xonix altogether.

As far as user friendly...they are gonna be about the same.

by calculator i mean my one that i use at school (TI 84 Plus). i use a stop watch on a friends watch and do that for 10 seconds and then divide the number of times i clicked by 10. i can get up to 12 bps.

I prefer the Xonik to either one
SystemX ram = Identical to STO ram.
SystemX inline = Identical to Torpedoe inline
Xonik board = identical to E1 except for full auto mode, can take zero-b with only slight modification for the eyes, board is a straight drop-in.
SystemX lpr is quite good
SystemX cockers have some of the best flowing front blocks due to using the lpr as the banjo bolt and not adding more bends the air has to go through. THis also saves weight.
Xonik bolt is full delrin open face bolt. Not the best out there, but not in any way bad.
SystemX internals are sprung to run quite well ~250-300 psi, and very consistent once broken in.
SytemX cockers use a cocker threaded feedneck
If it's a Xonik Vengeance 2.0/4.0, the Xonik is lighter than the orry, about equal to the Superstock. If a Vengeance Attitude/TypeX then it's about the same weight as the Orry.
Despite the reputation SystemX ONCE deserved for making utter garbage, all the cockers they produced with Xoniks were actually of very high quality. I own 2, and they are quite nice. Xonik vs. anything with a worr-frame, Xonik is better.

I will have to take your word for it. The only one I have ever seen was garbage, but then again the person who had it didn't take much care for it so that could explain it very well.

I would definately agree to stay away from the newer worr-frames. The select fire's are worthless. If it has an e-1 or e-2 then I would definately go for it.
